Primark Sets Grand Opening Date for Willowbrook Mall Store, Bringing Affordable Fashion to Northwest Houston
For shoppers across Northwest Houston, the wait is almost over. Primark has officially announced that its new Willowbrook Mall location will open its doors on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM, marking another milestone in the international retailer's continued expansion across Texas.
The opening brings one of the world's largest value-focused fashion retailers to one of North Houston's busiest shopping destinations, adding another major national brand to Willowbrook Mall while giving residents in communities including Champions, Cypress, Tomball, Spring, Klein and Jersey Village another option for affordable clothing, accessories and everyday essentials just ahead of the back-to-school shopping season.
The Willowbrook store will become Primark's seventh location in Texas, its second in the Greater Houston area, and the company's 44th store in the United States.
A New Chapter for Willowbrook Mall
The opening continues the evolution of Willowbrook Mall as a regional shopping destination serving Northwest Houston.
Located at 3000 Willowbrook Mall, Primark's new store will offer nearly 30,000 square feet of retail space filled with apparel, accessories, footwear, beauty products and home essentials. The opening follows the retailer's recent debut at The Parks Mall at Arlington, continuing a steady expansion throughout Texas.
When My Neighborhood News first reported on the project in October 2025, construction plans called for transforming a former anchor retail space into a new Primark location. Now, less than a year later, that project is complete and ready to welcome customers.
On November 20, 2025, Primark opened at Katy Mills, marking the brand's entry into the Houston market. For residents across Northwest Houston, the Willowbrook Mall addition means another nationally recognized retailer within easy driving distance rather than making the trip across town.
