Oakhill Reserve Begins Home Sales as New Master-Planned Community Takes Shape in Tomball
As Tomball continues to grow, another master-planned community is beginning to welcome prospective homebuyers.
Oakhill Reserve is now open for home sales, giving buyers their first opportunity to explore available homesites and model offerings in a community that is planned to include approximately 919 homes. Located near Grand Parkway (SH 99) and zoned to Tomball Independent School District (Tomball ISD), the development adds to a growing number of residential communities taking shape in northwest Harris County as demand for housing in the area continues.
While the community is still in its early stages, plans call for a mix of housing options, neighborhood amenities, and outdoor gathering spaces designed to support day-to-day living.
A New Neighborhood Planned for Northwest Harris County
Oakhill Reserve is being developed with a mix of 45-foot and 50-foot homesites, with multiple builders offering homes throughout the community. Onsite appointments are now available for prospective buyers interested in learning more about available lots, floor plans, and future phases.
According to the developer, the community is intended to blend residential living with shared outdoor spaces, preserving portions of the site's natural landscape while creating places for recreation and neighborhood interaction.
At full buildout, approximately 919 homes are planned.
Amenities Planned Around Active, Outdoor Living
Oakhill Reserve is designed around a collection of neighborhood amenities intended to support recreation and community gathering. The community features a resort-style pool, recreation center, pickleball courts, playground, community pond, walking trails, and open green spaces, creating places for residents to spend time outdoors and connect with neighbors.
As the community continues to grow, these shared spaces will become part of the neighborhood experience alongside new homes and future phases of development.
Convenient Access to Tomball and the Greater Houston Area
One of the community's defining characteristics is its location.
Situated near SH 99 (Grand Parkway), Oakhill Reserve provides relatively convenient access to TX-249, Interstate 45, The Woodlands, George Bush Intercontinental Airport, and other employment and commercial centers throughout the Houston region.
For many buyers, that balance between suburban living and regional accessibility has become an increasingly important factor as growth continues across northwest Houston.
Zoned to Tomball ISD
The community is located within Tomball Independent School District, which serves a large portion of the rapidly growing Tomball area.
For families evaluating where to live, school attendance zones often play a significant role alongside factors such as commute times, neighborhood amenities, and nearby services. Tomball ISD offers a variety of academic, athletic, career and technical education, and fine arts programs across its campuses.
Multiple Builders Offering Homes
Two homebuilders are offering homes within Oakhill Reserve, providing buyers with a range of floor plans and architectural styles.
Among them is Toll Brothers, which recently opened sales in the community. According to the builder, its homes range from approximately 1,884 to more than 3,175 square feet on 45- and 50-foot homesites, with pricing beginning in the upper $300,000s. Some homesites are planned to overlook community lakes.
Tri Pointe Homes is also offering homes within Oakhill Reserve. Its collection includes one- and two-story floor plansranging from approximately 2,128 to 2,933 square feet, with three to four bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and two-car garages. According to the builder, pricing currently begins in the high $300,000s, though availability and pricing may change as the community develops.
As with most new residential developments, available homes, pricing, and construction timelines will continue to evolve as additional phases are released.
Why Tomball Continues to See Residential Growth
Oakhill Reserve is one of several developments reflecting Tomball's continued population growth over the past decade.
The Tomball area has become an increasingly popular destination for homebuyers looking for a community that combines the feel of a historic downtown with convenient access to major transportation corridors.
Downtown Tomball remains a focal point for local events, independent businesses, restaurants, and attractions such as the Tomball Farmers Market, Depot Plaza, and annual festivals including the Tomball German Heritage Festival. Outdoor destinations like Burroughs Park provide trails, sports fields, playgrounds, and open green space, while nearby retail and dining options continue to expand alongside residential growth.
That combination of established community amenities and ongoing development has helped make Tomball one of the fastest-growing areas in northwest Harris County.
What Happens Next
With home sales now underway, development at Oakhill Reserve will continue over the coming years as additional homes, amenities, and infrastructure are completed.
For residents following growth in the Tomball area, the community represents another example of the residential expansion occurring along the Grand Parkway corridor, where new neighborhoods continue to reshape the region while adding housing options for a growing population.
