REMINDER: Hearthstone's July 4th Bicycle Parade to Kick Off a Full Day of Independence Day Fun

June 30 2026

Before the fireworks light up the sky over Hearthstone, neighbors are invited to start Independence Day together with a fun-filled morning celebrating community, patriotism and family traditions.

Hearthstone residents of all ages are invited to gather at Bob Allen Park on Saturday, July 4, 2026, for the Hearthstone Fourth of July Bicycle, Scooter, Wagon & Stroller Parade, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The celebration will open with a patriotic flag ceremony before participants take one or two festive laps around the park's walking track aboard their red, white and blue decorated bicycles, scooters, wagons and strollers.

Organizers are currently looking for a local Girl Scout or Boy Scout troop to help lead the opening flag ceremony. Troops interested in participating are encouraged to email tiffany@myneighborhoodnews.com for more information.

Families are encouraged to get creative with patriotic decorations before heading to the park. Following the parade, participants will gather in the pavilion where recognition will be awarded for the best decorated bicycle, scooter, wagon and stroller. Everyone is then invited to cool off with a frozen treat courtesy of My Neighborhood News (led by Hearthstone residents Johnny and Tiffany Krenek), along with ARRC Advertising & Marketing (led by Hearthstone resident Geoffrey Acuna).

The morning parade is designed to kick off what promises to be a full day of Independence Day festivities in Hearthstone. Later that evening, the Hearthstone HOA and Hearthstone Country Club will host the community's Stone Cold American Birthday Bash, featuring carnival-style fun and a fireworks show that has become a favorite annual tradition for many neighborhood families.

Whether you're decorating a toddler's stroller, adding streamers to a bicycle or showing off a patriotic wagon, this is a chance for neighbors to come together, celebrate the holiday and create new memories close to home. Residents are encouraged to invite friends and neighbors, wear their favorite red, white and blue attire, and help make the first Hearthstone Fourth of July Parade the beginning of a new neighborhood tradition.
