REMINDER: Champions Park's July 4 Celebration Returns with Fireworks, Parade, Food, and Neighborhood Fun
Champions Park is getting ready to celebrate Independence Day in true neighborhood style with an evening packed full of family-friendly fun, patriotic spirit, and one of the community's favorite traditions. From decorating bikes and golf carts for the parade to enjoying fireworks with neighbors, this year's Champions Park Fourth of July celebration offers plenty of opportunities to make lasting memories close to home.
Saturday, July 4 Festivities
On Saturday, July 4, 2026, residents are invited to come enjoy activities designed for all ages. At 5:00 p.m., residents can put their competitive spirit to the test during the Hot Dog Eating Contest or show off their favorite homemade treats in the Neighborhood Bake Off.
Beginning at 6:00 p.m., the Decoration Station opens, giving families a chance to deck out bicycles, wagons, golf carts, scooters, and other parade rides in red, white, and blue before the evening parade. Participants should gather along Cypress Point Drive beginning at 7:30 p.m., with the patriotic parade stepping off promptly at 7:45 p.m. The celebration culminates with the Light the Night Grand Finale Fireworks Show beginning at 8:30 p.m., providing a spectacular ending to an evening of hometown celebration.
Friday, July 3 Kick Off Gathering
Kicking off the celebrations that weekend, the Red, White, & Night Kickoff Party invokes residents to gather on Friday, July 3, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Residents can start off the holiday weekend with a food truck, dancing, music, and plenty of opportunities to spend time with friends and neighbors before Saturday's signature events. Together, the two-day celebration offers something for everyone, whether families are participating in the parade, cheering on contestants, enjoying great food, or simply gathering outdoors to celebrate America's birthday with their community.
Events like these have become part of what makes living in Champions Park special. They bring neighbors together, introduce new families, strengthen community connections, and create traditions that children remember for years to come. Residents are encouraged to bring their patriotic spirit, invite friends and family, and enjoy everything the Champions Park Fourth of July Celebration has to offer.
