REMINDER: Brookshire to Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with Daylong Fourth of July Festival, Live Music and Fireworks
This year’s Fourth of July celebration in Brookshire will carry a little extra meaning.
As communities across the country mark the 250th anniversary of American independence, the City of Brookshire is inviting residents and visitors to gather at Hovas Park for a day of live entertainment, local vendors, community spirit and a fireworks show at dusk. The 250th Anniversary Independence Day Milestone Celebration will take place Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hovas Park, located at 1412 FM 359 South in Brookshire.
For many local families, Fourth of July traditions are about more than fireworks. They are an opportunity to reconnect with neighbors, spend time outdoors and celebrate the community they call home. This year’s event offers plenty of opportunities to do just that.
Live music will be a centerpiece of the celebration, with Cloudnine performing from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by The Earl Sanders Jr. Band from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitors can also enjoy food vendors, community activities and festivities throughout the afternoon and evening before the fireworks begin at dusk.
The event is expected to draw residents from Brookshire, Pattison, Katy and surrounding West Houston communities, creating a festive atmosphere as neighbors come together to celebrate one of the nation’s most significant milestones.
