New Braunfels to Celebrate America's 250th Birthday with Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular at Landa Park
As communities across the nation prepare to celebrate America's 250th birthday, New Braunfels is inviting residents and visitors to gather for one of its most anticipated annual traditions — the Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular over Landa Park.
The annual Independence Day celebration returns on Saturday, July 4, bringing an evening filled with live entertainment, family activities and a patriotic fireworks display over Landa Lake. The event has become a summertime tradition for generations of local families, offering neighbors and visitors a chance to celebrate together in one of New Braunfels' most iconic parks.
This year's celebration carries added significance as the United States commemorates 250 years of independence, making the annual fireworks show an especially meaningful community gathering.
"The annual Fireworks Spectacular over Landa Park means even more this year as our country celebrates 250 years," said Parks and Recreation Director Ken Wilson. "There's nothing better than gathering with family and friends to celebrate our nation's independence in our hometown parks."
Live Music Kicks Off the Evening
The festivities begin at 6 p.m. at the Landa Park Dance Slab, where the community can enjoy the final Live @ Landa concert of the season before the evening transitions into the fireworks celebration.
Throughout the holiday weekend, several of Landa Park's most popular attractions—including the Landa Park Aquatic Complex and the Landa Park Miniature Train—will also be open, giving families even more opportunities to enjoy the holiday. Visitors are encouraged to check the City of New Braunfels Parks and Recreation website for attraction schedules and operating hours.
