Lytle Public Library Foam Party Returns July 2 With a Morning of Summer Fun at John Lott Municipal Park

June 24 2026

Summer in South Texas can be hot, but the Lytle Public Library is giving local families a fun way to beat the heat. Children and their caregivers are invited to head to John Lott Municipal Park on Thursday, July 2, 2026 for a free Foam Party that promises plenty of laughter, outdoor play, and community connection.

Taking place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at John Lott Municipal Park, 19010 Live Oak St., Lytle, TX 78052, the event offers families an opportunity to enjoy one of the season's most popular outdoor activities while connecting with neighbors before the Independence Day weekend.

A Free Summer Activity for Lytle Families

The Lytle Public Library Foam Party is designed to get kids moving, playing, and making summer memories in a safe outdoor setting. Foam parties have become a favorite at community events, creating a giant blanket of bubbles where children can run, dance, and cool off together.

The event also highlights the library's ongoing commitment to offering programs that extend beyond its walls, giving families additional opportunities to stay engaged throughout the summer while encouraging children to enjoy active, screen-free fun.

What Families Should Bring

Because participants will be playing in foam and water, families are encouraged to come prepared. The library recommends bringing:

  • Swimwear
  • A change of clothes
  • A towel
  • Lawn chairs for those who would like a comfortable place to relax while watching the fun

Planning ahead will help everyone stay comfortable and enjoy the full two-hour event.

Building Community One Summer Event at a Time

Community events like the Lytle Public Library Foam Party do more than entertain—they give neighbors a chance to gather, children an opportunity to make new friends, and families a reason to spend time together outdoors during the summer break.

With school out and many families looking for affordable activities, the free event provides another reason to visit John Lott Municipal Park while supporting one of Lytle's most active community organizations.

Families planning to attend are encouraged to arrive ready to get wet and enjoy a morning filled with bubbles, smiles, and summertime fun.
