Cypress Meadows Pool Reminder: Keeping the Pool Family-Friendly for Everyone
The Cypress Meadows pool is one of the neighborhood’s most enjoyed summer amenities ‐ a place for families to cool off, neighbors to gather and residents to make the most of the season close to home. To help preserve that welcoming atmosphere, the association is reminding all residents and guests that alcohol and drugs are not allowed at the pool, in the park or anywhere within the community recreation areas at any time.
The reminder follows a recent incident in which some residents reportedly brought alcohol to the pool, and there was also possible use of weed pens. Law enforcement was made aware of the situation and observed the activity through the pool cameras. Those involved were removed from the pool area without incident.
Association management emphasized that the pool area is taken seriously because it is meant to remain a family-friendly environment for Cypress Meadows residents and their guests. Anyone who creates an unsafe, inappropriate or uncomfortable atmosphere may be removed from the pool or park area.
This is not just a rules reminder ‐ it is about protecting a shared neighborhood space that belongs to the community. Families, children, neighbors and guests should be able to enjoy the Cypress Meadows pool with confidence, knowing that the area is being maintained as a safe and respectful place for everyone.
Residents who see alcohol, drug use or other concerning activity at the Cypress Meadows pool or park are encouraged to report it by calling the non-emergency line at 281-463-6666. Prompt reporting helps law enforcement and association management respond appropriately and helps maintain the kind of neighborhood environment residents expect.
Thank you to Cypress Meadows residents for helping keep the pool fun, safe and enjoyable for everyone this summer. A little awareness and cooperation go a long way in protecting one of the community’s most valued amenities.
