Atascosa County Invites Residents to July 7 Public Meeting on Growth, Development and Community Impact
As new businesses, development projects and population growth continue to shape Atascosa County, local leaders are inviting residents to be part of the conversation. A public information meeting scheduled for Tuesday, July 7, will give community members an opportunity to learn more about the county's current business landscape, future growth, and how local government helps guide development decisions.
For homeowners, landowners, business owners and families, the meeting offers more than just a presentation. It is a chance to better understand how future growth could affect infrastructure, water resources, emergency services, economic development and the overall character of communities throughout Atascosa County. Public Meeting Scheduled for July 7 in Jourdanton
The public information meeting will begin at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the Atascosa County Justice Center, located at 1405 Campbell Avenue, Suite 101, in Jourdanton.
According to Atascosa County, the meeting is designed to provide factual information about the impact of existing businesses, future development and the role county government plays in planning for continued growth. Officials say the event is intended to help residents better understand the issues facing the county as conversations surrounding economic development continue.
The meeting is open to the public, and all residents are encouraged to attend.
